About Advancing to States

For the 2106 Jr. High Championship Series, the top 3 place finishers at Area Championships advance to States.  For the Youth Championship Series, the top 2 place finishers at Area Championships advance to States. Those that qualify for the PJW State Championships are required to pay the advancement fee at Area Championships when you pick up your medal.  The advancement fee will be determined at a later date.  The advancement fee gets you the State Championships wrestler packet which includes start times, parking, hotel information, etc..  It also includes an Area XIII singlet which is required to be worn at States, an Area XIII t-shirt and covers the State Championships tournament fee.

As an added benefit for qualifiers this season, singlets will be theirs to keep. Area XIII will have new singlets for the 2017 season.
